We are one of the most experienced off-road driver training centres in the country. We are an accredited member of the British Off-Road Driving Association (BORDA) upholding its Codes of Practice to maintain the highest standards, and are also associated with ProDriverTraining.co.uk . All of our training and events are authorised under Statute 1371 of The Road Traffic Act 1992/1995 (Off-Road Driving Regulations). Our BORDA qualified instructors provide professional training to organisations such as QinetiQ, UK Power Networks, The Environment Agency, Local Authorities and Emergency Services. If our own extensive training centre at Ashtree Farm in Kent does not suit you logistically we will be able to conduct training at your own site or venue if suitable.

Employers Duty of Care

It is a legal requirement to provide adequate training in both the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER). Every employer has a responsibility to train his or her staff and driving a four wheel drive vehicle off-road is no exception. As well as covering an employer’s legal requirements many of our customers have told us they see benefits from training such as reduced accident rates, reduced wear and tear on vehicles, reduced repair costs, reduced down time and greater efficiency and productivity.

“…Rob and I wanted to thank you for our 4×4 Landrover training back in August. We had an absolutely fantastic self drive trip to Zambia and Botswana in September and our driving confidence was all the better for what you taught us. We had another course on arrival in Zambia and we were quickly classified competent to take the Landrover for four weeks on our own so you must have done some good! We even got to tow another vehicle out of the sand and help someone else change their wheel. We managed 4 weeks through sand without a puncture and tackled a couple of water crossings as despite SafariDrive’s phobia, it was necessary at times. There was even one hill!! I have attached a couple of photos and thanks again for everything you taught us.” Ruth Morgan
