Quad Safari
This activity begins with a safety briefing and demonstration on how to operate a Quad Bike. Once this has been completed, training commences and first up is the obstacle course, a fun-packed coned route that includes a see-saw and parallel logs. Everyone will spend approximately 15/20 minutes on the Quad obstacle course, getting familiar with riding the Quad Bike and giving the instructor time to assess your ability. Once the instructor is happy that everyone in the group is good to go, it’s Safari time. Your instructor will take you out on a trek around our 200-acre estate, taking you through open fields, orchards and, depending on the group, the more demanding woodland. The duration of the safari is approximately 25/30 minutes.

Restrictions: Minimum age is 11 years old. However under 16’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who must also participate in the activity. Max weight is 20 stone. If you are extraordinarily tall or short, or feel your physique may impair your enjoyment of this activity in any way, please check with the centre when booking.
Duration: Please allow 1 hour for this experience and arrive 15 minutes before your start time.
What to Wear/Equipment: The centre will provide all safety equipment needed, but please wear comfortable casual clothing and footwear that you don’t mind getting dirty. In wet weather waterproofs are essential and if it is cold gloves are recommended. Waterproofs can be provided.
Spectators/Dogs: Spectators are welcome, although viewing may be limited for certain activities. Please note that no dogs are allowed on site.
Weather: This experience is not generally affected by extreme weather conditions. However, if in doubt please contact the centre directly.

Refreshments: There is a pleasant indoor meeting space and a drinks vending machine.
Availability:This experience is available most Saturdays throughout the year at Ashtree Farm. However please speak to the centre directly to discuss alternative days.
Cancellation: Should it be necessary to cancel the activity due to bad weather or other circumstances beyond our control, we will arrange an alternative date. Please note that activities booked are non-refundable. Should you be unable to attend on the date you have booked please contact the office at least one week prior to the event and an alternative date will be arranged for you. Unfortunately we cannot honour cancellations made after this date.
Insurance: Public Liability Insurance is included.
